The Emperor

Post » Wed Jun 06, 2012 5:36 pm

I reunited the empire and completed all of the missions for them, but the Emperor didn't even feel the need to say even hello or give me a handshake. I am unable to go into the Emperor's tower. Is there any way in there? Is it possible to see him or interact with him at all?

I just looked on Youtube. Sweet. Can similar fates happen to Legate Rikke and that general guy? I hate them after having to take all those orders from them.

If you don't like taking orders, maybe you should have thought twice about joining the army.

The emperor is a really nice guy actually once you meet him, not as much of a d*1ck as I thought.

I wanted to kill the racist Stormcloaks though, and I'm glad I did that.

Indeed the civil war quest line was rather disappointing. Missions are disappointing. As reward for your actions you always get random leveled weapons, the same you can get in every chest at the end of a dungeon.

Spoiler
You won't be promoted past the rank of legate nor become Jarl of a subdued town. I wish I could replace Ulfric in Windhelm but, no... title goes to some pro-imperial lackey who lived in that city.

Agreed. The rewards and the quests themselves were very underwhelming, no unique armor/weapons or really even a "thank you" after they were completed, despite the fact your character single-handedly turns the tide of the war in one direction or another.

1. Read the spoilers
2. The Emperor isn't actually in that tower. The Emperor is in another province of the Empire, he can come to Skyrim and if he does then he cab stay at that tower, but that's about it.

When I found in a ruin the special Corinthian style imperial helmet, I hoped this helm was part of a one-of-a-kind armor found somewhere or given as reward during the imperial quest. Imagine my disappointment when I did not even get Tullius nice armor.

The only way to get Tullius armor is to... side with Ulfric! Brillant! It reminds me of Shivering Isles where you got the opposite faction armor as reward. How [censored] is that?
