THE EVIL GNOME!!!

Ever since i found the little bugger, i have been hearing in-game spooky sounds and strange voices whispering to me when i finally lay down to sleep from a long day of wandering the wastes..

and now i can't seem to get the "you are well rested" bonus when i sleep in my Novac hotel room while he is in my inventory!

It's a regular garden gnome with black hair and glasses. Nothing creepy, just a nice Easter Egg for killing all the fire geckos in Fire Root Cave.

I'm guessing he has to be in your inventory for this to happen? I dropped him off in a crate because I couldn't find a home to put it outside of.

I know. I want to perch him on my power armor like a parrot. Possibly even talk to him like Jamison talked to Antler.

In-game spooky sounds? Are you being serious or just kidding? Are you using the Wild Wasteland perk? They could be attributed to that...I know if you get the Pimp-boy w/ the Wild Wasteland perk it "supposedly" from what I've read plays disco music.

That's just a show-off. But the Garden Gnome vs. Teddy Bear wars in Fallout 3 got very ugly. I have to urge to smash every gnome i see now, both ingame and real life :hehe:

That is a very awesome find... well, aside from the no "you are well rested" notification after sleeping.

Thanks for sharing this. :goodjob:

I love these gimmicks, there should be a real collector edition like the Daedra armor/weapons in Morrowind. Vikki and Vance would be a nice background for a unique collection scattered around the wasteland.

When I first saw the thread title, I thought you might have started it!

Either way, I would love to be able to give it to No-Bark and see his reaction to the haunted gnome.

Possibly? Lol sounds like you've got your mind set then. I'm off to find this thing too. It must've been the fan's gnome addiction that fueled this.

I MUST FIND THIS.

Nice name, I find it extremely appropriate and also very funny.
