I just noticed that the executioner cuirass looks similar to the Nordic ringmail as seen back in Morrowind? What do you think?

I spent the other eve pickpocketing to raise my lv and I took his axe. Now that I can steal equipted clothing and armor I can't find him anymore in Solitude.

Did you try Jala's house because that's where I usually find him.

I think the Nordic fur armors have come on since Morrowind.

I'm not so keen on the bare chest. I think it looks a bit daft considering the climate. It at least needs a fur cloak to wrap round. Obviously it looks better on a female.

It is very similar, I hadn't really noticed before.

I made a request over on the the mods forums for a full Skyrim-ringmail remake, (http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1372218-req-nordic-ringmail/page__hl__req__fromsearch__1) but perhaps we'll see some ringmail armour in the DLCs? I really hope so.

I think chainmail & ring mail is an important symbol connected to Nord armors. The guard armor and Stormcloak armors are basically chainmail with cloth over the top. That or Nord armor is made from animal fur / hide.

I'd like to see a Nord chainmail armor that looks like the Crusader armor from Knights of the Nine. Based on Teutonic & Templar / Hospitaller armor.

I think a bear fur helm to wear with the fur armor like the one seen in Morrowind's Bloodmoon would be cool.

His armor cannot be taken under any circumstances sadly, unless you use a mod.

The armor he is using does indeed resemble nordic ringmail quite heavily, although that's not what it's called in-game.

Idk but it does make me miss putting on armor over clothes lol (or robes over armor)

Its good to see some of the Nord armors from Morrowind return. I was upset when I thought the classic didn't return.

I think some of them are there but they aren't so obvious. The fur armours are supposed to be the same I think.

Chainmail is there but hidden into the city guard armor and the Stormcloaks armor. Its a shame they didn't make a top notch chainmail armor like Nord Mail.

What ever happened to trollbone armor? We have dragon bone armor and we have troll skulls but no way to make troll bone armor.

Yes, it has. That was quite a shock to me.

It certainly resemble it. I wish we could have a nordic ringmail armor added in the coming DLC. Chainmail armor is sadly lacking from the game with the exception of the guard uniforms.
