The Failure of Bethesda

Post » Sat Jun 09, 2012 9:03 pm

Bethesda has failed miserably with a lot of gamers.

The way they completely ignored some of the most major problems in Skyrim is sickening. They, to me, are compete and utterrr foolsss. I would rather use another word to describe them, but I would get banned in a heart beat. Well, I will get banned in anyway, snce Bethesda are a bunch of worthlesslittle children, who if they can't get their own way, will either ignore you (which is their most popular method of dealing with people) or they will just ban you outright.

I've had huge problems with Skyrim, even bigger than the save game and lag issues that most people seem to have had. I e-mailed Bethesda a few times in the beginning telling them of the problems and they repeately ignored them. i then posted a topic on these very message baords complaining about it, and my topic got blocked. I eventually, out of anger and frustration, got rid of the game. To me this proves that Bethesda are a bunch of worthless nothings.

If I get banned; let's rephrase that; when I evntually get banned or the topic get's blocked AGAIN; it will then prove my point that Bethesda does simply not care about the gamers, but rather about releasing sub-standard games.

You're getting banned because of the immaturity and hostility of your post, which reflects your age. Not because of legitimate complaints.

The problem with identifying problems with Skyrim is that it is very specific to certain people. I have encountered no such problems of save files and lag issues, and I have over 120 hours in Skyrim. I'm complaining of lack of balance in this game, and I haven't been banned yet.

I suggest you post when you are less angry.

You think they don't care? Then why are they releasing patches and the Creation Kit? I honestly don't think they have the time to respond to every single e-mail they recieve. There have been bugs and glitches in games long before Skyrim, and there will be games in the future that are released with bugs. Bugs can be caused by the minutest tiny thing that the player does, or even a single typo in a line of code.

No they haven't failed. How do you expect them to reply to every e-mail?

"Let's deliberately go out of our way to rip gamers off, and release a sub-standard game."
"Not just deliberately, let's actually care about it."
"So quick yearly knock off, locked day one content, re-used assets then?"
"No, no, let's deliberately make a sub-standard game, but care so much it takes five years to make."
'Sounds like hard work, I assume we won't be bothering with patches, since we are all lazy programmers, who don't care about gamers."
"No, no, let's care about making sub-standard patches."

Maybe you should try to make a game like skyrim then. And then i wil bug you ,1 of the 10 million emails you wil receive is from me. And if you don't respond you wil take that arrow in the knee.
Come on man. Maybe you do something wrong. Maybe you pc is infected or the settings are way to high. Just wait , play pokemon , and when everything is ok with patches come back and play.

In before topic lock...

Anyways, I've been writing my fair share of "what's wrong with Skyrim" posts and I've suggested on more than one occasion that the focus isn't on the gamers anymore or even on the art of making a great game, but rather on the profit involved. I've called Todd Howard a liar more than once, most probably, and I've ranted a bit about their useless (to me as a gamer, not to their shareholders) circle-jerk thing with Valve. And I'm not banned yet. Presumably because I'm being civil about it, as much as one can be civil while ranting about highly emotional topics like how something that could've been a work of art has been commercialized into the equivalent of a wal-mart poster.

LFV, your last thread was called "Goodbye Bethesda", but for some reason you're still here. Why did you lie? You're just as immature as you claim Betheda to be.

What a failure of a thread, not to mention the amount of false claims in the OP.

And LFV, consider how many times you mention the word banned, one would get the impression you want to be a banned "martyr", which is rather odd, considering you haven't even recived any warning.
