The Falmer are leaving the underground!

Post » Thu Jul 12, 2012 3:49 pm

How do falmer have have mudcrab shields, weapons, etc. if they live underground? I've never scene a mudcrab underground have you? This must mean the falmer are coming out of hiding and stealing mudcrabs from us. Mark my words they will be stealing more than that in the future, they want revenge on us Nords.

Hell, the next DLC will probably be called "RISE OF THE FALMER"

The falmer weapons and armor are not actually made from mudcrab chitin. The creatures they get this stuff from live among the falmer, however.

If you want evidence of the Falmer coming to the serface, look no further than the road between Dragon Bridge and Rorikstead. There's a cart with two dead merchants and their horse with falmer arrows laying around.

It is Charus Chitin. I don't remember where i read it, but i believe it was an in game book. It;s absolutely charus chitin, and they fashion it to look as they so please. That explains teh crab claw, imo.

The queen charus, or w/e, is pretty F'ing big too, and has some nasty claws/hands/thingys

Queen Chaurus ? The Chaurus Reaper is big but I've never seen or heard of the queen. Is it from a quest?

Pretty much this, they do venture to the surface for raids.

Yeah the one with the lighthouse. I think she's bigger than the Chaurus Reaper, definitely looked like a scene right out of Aliens

Yes. This is what I orginally thought this thread was about before I clicked it. There's a merchant caravan that looks like it's been raided. They killed both horses and both merchants. The only evidence is a bunch of Falmer arrows laying around. I always thought this was an interesting find and wondered if it meant anything.

Perhaps we might see a Falmer invasion soon? The Snow Elves of old have been forming an army and raising Charaus for years and perhaps they will rise from the underground ruins to destroy all who dwell above and reclaim their land. Ahh, so many opportunites...

Which makes me think:
The Falmer are blind but have developed a very acute sense of hearing and smell-underground its pretty quiet down there and the falmer are undeniably used to the smells down there so if they went topside wouldn't all those new smells and sounds distract and disorient them?
