the falmer helping the dominion

Post » Fri Jun 15, 2012 11:08 pm

in the E3 interview on G4, morgan webb asked todd howard about snow elves. he didnt confirm nor deny them. so i think in future dlc the thalmor might try to ressurct the snow prince and have another force to help take skyrim. opinions anyone? just a thought.

I think there were files for him in the 1.6 patch, hinting he would appear in Dawnguard, also i the trailer we saw a few clips of Falmer dungeons... again suggesting they have a role in the DLC... We are simply not sure how big a role it is

Falmer are in the trailer and there is meant to be a big and interesting sidequest, which could easily involve him.

As you may be able to tell my sig, i have, and so is the book its from..
The last time a Snow Elf army was seen they were lead by the Snow Prince, and were defeated on Solstheim.. The Snow Prince was such a strong warrior they buried his body in a Nordic style instead of burning him like the rest of the bodies..
http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Fall_of_the_Snow_Prince

It also represents an oppurtunty for him to of joined the VLs, Falmer Vampires???

i forgot the nords did that. think of the fear that would overcome the nords if the snow prince really came back.when he came on the battle field both sides stop fighting just to look in awe at the warrior. u would probably have to find Jofrior's sword the thing that killed the snow prince. and if he is in the dlc and u kill him will u get his spear cause spears arent in the game. would be nice to have controlling the snow to your command. i doubt it though

He possibly lost his spear, i know a certain Nerevarine stole all his armor and his spear ..
I doubt many Nords would remember him, they might start making the connection after he appeared in a battle or two. Plus theres the question of whether or not the Falmer would still follow him, after centuries of slavery, abuse and savagery how much of there history have they remembered. Would he even acknowledge his kinship with them or simply refuse to accept that the once proud, advanced, civilised Snow Elves have become twisted blind creatures who dwell in the darkest reaches of the earth.

well the thalmor have there work cut out for them as thanks to the nords genocide likely to the point of forcing inbreeding among the falmer and the dwemers poisoning and genetic mutation of the falmer the current falmer are nothing more then savage blind xenophobic fiends scarcely more reasonable or intelligent then the chaurus they herd. getting the allegiance of the snow prince could be easy but getting the allegiance of the current falmer could prove problematic if not impossible even for there former ruler.

You fail to account for the fact that every NPC in Skyrim seems to be some form of psychic.

LOL Nice.

No the Falmer wouldn't work with the Thalmor even though their names sound so incredibly similar. The Falmer hat all but their own because of all that suffering that was previously stated.

Scary enough the Falmer really do outnumber those residents in Skyrim and in the Castle in Blackreach you can clearly see they have begun taking Nordic Slaves.

At what point in the trailer can we see Falmer or Falmer Dungeons? I completely missed that.

Ahh you right i did
Spoiler

Random npc: Did you here that the Snow Elf Prince is on the march with a Falmer army?
Dragonborn: Wait!, What? .. You serious? i never heard that
Random npc: oh sorry that hasn't happened yet, spoiler alert

There is a very small clip where an axe killcam is being used on a Falmer, plus when we see the VL transformation using some kind of detect life shout, that is in what looks like a falmer cave.

And then just imagine the Falmer being a playable race. Since they're blind you'll have a completely dark screen, but your surround sound will be much better... Haha. Noooo thank you!

I don't think the Falmer would be considered elves anymore. They aren't even considered a race, they're considered creatures.

There is definitley alot of things that can be done with the falmer. however reviving the snow prince wouldn't change the fact that the falmer are basically savages now.

the forsworn were considered savages too. until a leader rose up and formed them into a army to conquer markarth. also the forsworn remind me of the wildlings in game of thrones just a thought.

I think Dawnguard might be a small piece to a bigger plot that will reveal itself in the last DLC but will be present in all DLC's....

I'm sure they'd recognize him. The Nords are a very proud culture and are probably told stories of the battle of Skyrim as children. Like when you absorbed the first dragon soul, all the Nord guards knew exactly who you were.

Always thinking the Thalmor are plotting this and that... can't you see that these rumors are in fact false?

It's simply preposterous. The Thalmor only wish to promote stability in Tamriel.
