Am I the only thinking its the other half of Skyrim? I mean think about it, anyone who played Skyrim knew something was missing to it. My theory was, Beth only released half the game to attract dim witted CoD fans, but as soon as they lost intrest since its not CoD, they plan on releasing the other half of the game.

That would be highly unethical. I don't think that is the case. :P

But again, I think the answer is simpler than that: 11.11.11.

Not really, seeing how CoD kiddies don't wany anything more complicated than fetch quests and don't even know what an RPG is, but kvlt and/or troo TES fans want complexity (but there is a line, that shoulden't be crossed, like having to go to the bathroom and what not) and want a troo RPG.

Lord_Ka1n - I did say free, because they are planning free DLC between every expansion pack.

Stigwa - That and Beth was in it for the money.

I payed my dues (200 - 300 hours, but I only completed the game two or three times, because I would get bored and make a new character, only to repeat the process.), but the longer I played, the more I noticed how shallow the game was.

Maybe, but I think really it's just a case of time. On a game of this scale I assume it will be difficult to estimate how long it will take to 'complete'. And even then, it will take so long to 'complete' that it would be infeasible - Bethesda need to pay their bills after all. So they needed to release it incomplete.

My predicition for the next TES, it will be make your on TES game. Instead of Beth making their own game, they will just give people the tools to make their own game :spotted owl: An better example, the game has to be finshed with mods so everyone else is screwed :spotted owl:

not likely. there is something out there called "Business ethics". it would be like me going to work and being sent to fix someones computer, and I half fix it then say "Im calling it a day, ill fix the rest of the problem in April when i get back from vacation".

It would be so highly unethical that i would be fired, if Beth did this then obviously they would permanently lose alot of customers. Ethics, Ethics.....

Off Topic: do they not teach Ethics in school's any more? gonna have to ask the premier about that....

To be fair and honest, Skyrim was, and still is a very good game. I personally don't think it was "dumbed down" for CoD players and the like(we are all supposed to be a group of gamers interested in Skyrim, insulting, people who play a certain popular game is something that children do, cop on!). Skyrim had it's fair share of bugs when it came out for all platforms, adding anything else gameplay-wise besides a decent expansion would only add more things that could go very wrong for Bethesda.

Right. Never let your marketing department set release dates.

I'll believe that when i see it. And even if i see it i'll think it's a trick.

Now, I don't play CoD (not since the first one), but...

dim witted CoD fans

CoD kiddies

...why do people insist on crap like this? The whole tribal "You like X, and I like Y. Therefore, you are a moron" thing just gets really tedious.

Throwing out "casuals", another overused, meaningless "anti-tribe" stereotype/insult, really doesn't change things.
