So by way of the local game store I now have Rage. The game so far is great fun. It may take a little bit to get used to aiming in this game, but what would have made it so much better would have been if this game didn't have it's vehicles.
They are awkward as hell to drive and just frustrating to race in. Like trying to ride on and steer a cheetah that has legs with no paws on the end of them. I'm only greatful that I heard from the developers that there are a minimum of only 2 races needed to complete the game. (Although zero races would have been ideal.)

I still highly recommend this game though!
