my level 10 character is killing people too easy on master diff. Is this because of the patch?

i've already played over 500 hours with various combat styles and always play on master difficulty. On this particular character he is a two handed, heavy armor and smith. He is only a level 10 and he seems to be putting out more damage and fights with bosses seem to be extremely easy and go faster. Idk, maybe its just me. I'm just wondering if anyone knew of some official data that confirmed they nerfed the enemies or buffed player stats. I just never remebered being this powerful this early in the game. Once a character becomes OP'd i usually re-roll a character cause i like that feeling of being vulnerable and need to play smart.
