Yeah, the game is rife with glitches, and unplayable for many customers. I can only attest for the downloaded steam PC version, but I've had literally 30 to 40 crashes to desktop over 35 hours of gameplay on 2 different gaming rigs, both of which far exceed the recommended requirements. These are most commonly "falloutnv.exe has stopped working" errors, but I did have one BSOD. Even when the game works, there are the texture and graphical errors, wacky savegame system, poor pathfinding, and laughable AI issues that are moderate annoyances. I already warned a couple buddies stationed overseas against buying the game until a patch is released that addresses these issues. It is sad that the developers that brought us Planescape Torment, KOTOR 2, and Neverwinter Nights 2, have devolved so thoroughly, but with Alpha Protocol and now Fallout NV, their products are speaking for themselves. I hate to bad mouth the guys, because I've loved the majority of their products, and I'm a huge fan of the fallout series. However, if you can't take a game engine that is 90% finished and make a glorified expansion (not saying that's a bad thing, as a working Fallout New Vegas would be worth every penny spent!) out of it, what the heck is going on? I won't even talk about the obvious lack of quality testing, as a simple search for "Fallout New Vegas Glitch" on Youtube produces some simultaneously hilarious but sad results. Hopefully some patches will knock all of this out, and within a couple of weeks, everything will be running smoothly, but come on guys, shape up before you ruin the Dungeon Siege series too, will ya? Also, shame on the publishing side of Bethesda for letting a Fallout title be released in this state. Tarnished is the the name of a great and much loved series.

Can we still have a REAL Fallout 4?
