Just shelled out 60 dollars for this game two days ago and I can't seem to be able to play without my Xbox freezing... seriously! I've locked up way too many times. I don't even care about quest bugs or corrupted save games or DLC errors... WHY is the game locking up when I'm just trying to explore the wasteland? I find an enemy... he shoots at me.. LOCK UP. He walk through a door, LOCK UP.

Whoever quality assurance was for this game, really failed to properly test this game. That, or they ignored the bugs and released the game anyway...................

Fallout 3 was completely playable. It locked up on me maybe 2 times in like 100+ hours of playing! This game has locked up more often than I have fingers in the first two days!

I'm upset because... I doubt the xbox patch will fix the lockups! It's probably just going to fix the quest related bugs!

Sorry, to hear about your troubles. With all the complaints and troubles with this game, you still went ahead and bought it, because you love the game and you were willing to still take a risk with it. I'm in the same boat as well. I also feel loyal to the franchise, only to be heavily disappointed by a dreadfully bad decision to release this game without proper game testing. Bethesda, I think, really betrayed their fan base with this awful decision. I would have been just as happy if they released it after a couple months, to polish it, rather that blowing it out of the doors in the the horrendous condition that it is in now.

I hope the patch will resolve the deep programming errors first, which will fix the cumulative problems that spawn from them. I predict there will be more patches afterwards when the next one is released unfortunately.
