The GTX460 would be better if you could spare the extra cash.

I have the 460 and I can report that I've had no major problems so far. Aside from the HDMI being all funky, but that may be my cable.

It's best to remove all doubt about what you're talking about before you talk about it I find. :P

It's a decent card. Whether or not it was a good purchase depends on how much you paid for it.

The price I'm looking at for the 275 is $210.Pretty good fro the price, I'd say.

I'm fairly sure that's about twice what it's worth these days. The 2__ series is from a few years ago.

Well then it's worth the price for sure. I'd still go for the 460 though.

The GTX 275 is fine. Its a generation old (came out in 2009) but is still quite capable. For a comparison with more modern cards it sits between the GTX 460 768MB and GTX 460 1GB in performance. The only bad thing about it is power consumption. It uses quite a bit more given its performance than the current generation and produces more heat. Plus its only a DX10 card.

To sum it up. Its an "O.K." card now. It was a good card two years ago.

Well if you bought it recently you can always take it back and swap it out for a different card.

I'd say you bought it too high unfortunately. The GTX 460 1GB could be had for $150 and beats the GTX 275:

For close to $180, could've gotten a Radeon 6870 or GTX 560...and those cards beat a GTX 460:

The GTX 275 should've been about a $110card if it was new. Used, one can get it for around $80 these days. Return it if you can.
