The GOOD Litttle Stuff I noticed on Skyrim walkabout...

There are some really nice touches I noticed in Skyrim, many of them you must NOT Fast travel to see...

Here`s a little list...

1. have you tried walking\running through trees? sometimes a flock of birds will suddenly fly out. Always makes me jump a bit. Also happened to me and a friend in real life once.

2. Rivers look very nice, but have you actually gone IN one? Try it, especially where the water`s running fast and there are rapids. Much fun.

3. Random encounters. be patient and walk\run to a city for a change. Sometimes you just get attacked by a wolf, but other times you get interesting random encounters.

4. Highwaymen are not all Khajits- Very nice. And they give you more options to being robbed as well.

5. Some soldiers\bandits will give a stern warning not to approach. they won`t always just madly attack. I like this cos when being level 2 and exploring it was nice to get the chance to back off.

6. The making of food and equipment; something I really did not expect in these dumb-down days. this is usually advanced immersion Mod stuff. I actually made a nice helmet and armour for myself.

7. The immersive singing in the taverns.

8. The way snow actually COVERS bodies lying on the ground. Wow. Killed some spiders, went away, came back a while later and the bodies were white with snow.

9. Great weather effects.

10. The game continues while talking to someone. Example: I was talking to a guy on the road andduring his talk I saw an undead skeleton running up to attack him from the back! I was actually a bit stunned by this and by the time I had quite out of the menu to warn the undead had struck him. But very nice.

11. Orcs and other mere, khajits and lizards actually look more realistic now.

These are some of the reasons why i like this game...

That`s about it for now...

After 44 game days of walking and horse travel primarily, the innocent and shy foxes attacked me and scared me good. I wonder why all the sudden these two foxes changed their
behavior.

Note that certain woodland beings can charm local wildlife to fight you, which probably includes foxes.

No, foxes are usually not aggressive. They just look at you and then run.
So he was saying how it was odd to be attacked by one.

But if a woodland creature like a Spriggan can force passive creatures to fight for it:
http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Spriggan are malevolent nature spirits appearing as glowing, green humanoid females made mostly of wood. They can call any animal, docile or not, to aid them in battle although foxes and elk are hardly a threat, but have been known to call upon the aid of a nearby http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Dragon which can make your conflict with the Spriggan much more difficult. Spriggans can restore themselves to half/full health easily, have a notable weakness to fire, and when killed, drop http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Taproot
