I love reading about people's characters and their adventures. I'm inspired to try different builds and approach certain things in various ways with different characters because of them. So I thought I'd start a Census to assemble examples of diversity among users and their characters. All platforms are welcome. Just fill out the following information. Focus: filling her pockets, in any way possible.

Other: the best thing about Carla is that she's a free woman - she does whatever she pleases, provided its to her benefit. She doesn't walk into a town and murder the people or anything like that - she's no murderer - but she's more than happy to 'relieve' passing nobles of their gifts.

I like seeing a mix of a typical characters and those remotely or truly abnormal in comparison here. I look forward to reading what others have as characters! I don't try to stand out much in mine, so my characters do have their aura of normality, and their diversity stems from their characteristics, purpose in life, etcetera, rather than their class or any other associative label.

Favorite/Current Weapon/Spells: Two-handed Steel Sword. Also opts for Silver or Imperial. May on occasion fancy Mithril, Adamantium*, or Ebony. He is inclined toward the Restoration skill since he is supposed to be somewhat of a Paladin.
Favorite/Current Armor/Clothing: Steel. Whatever he is assigned to where. He dresses casually when not in uniform, and so he always looks like he is in some sort of uniform.

Focus: Serving the Imperial cause. He's rather oblivious to any alternative perspective in regards to paramount events/topics; such is a sign of his loyalty to the Empire and the Emperor. He admires the temples of the divines, especially those that are associated with life and passing (Arkay), good against the evil. Most of his hobbies have him close to home or to a garrison, and they for the most part, involve serving a general, command, or random folk. He gives orders as well, hence a lot of what he could be doing is therefore done by others.
Base of Operations: Imperial City... formally. In the meantime, he's opted to acquire a residence in Solitude, for the operations there are long and far from home.
Platform: Never played him. I can use him in any game that has Imperial as a playable race.

Other: He is a good person, specifically without the law enacting as a masquerade. He does not question orders, but never admits any curiosity he may possess for any that is given. His loyalty overshadows his reason, or it may seem so to some, but to him, his loyalty is reason. To him, the Law is Just. He does not have a strong opinion about the Thalmor.
He had a good friend, a Nord he had trained and enlivened the lifestyle of through many years, who is as passionate about his people as Samuel is with his own. The Civil War has provoked them to separate, and so they are enemies now, though they do not hate each other. ...I find this rather interesting myself, since I had both characters on pen and paper before Skyrim was even announced. I can write a fan fiction out of this. Never thought it would come to pass.

**His forced resentment of Talos has left him a bitter taste. It is as if he had betrayed his sacred ideals. Of course, the Samuel of Skyrim is not the same as the Samuel of the other games, due to the setting/plot/timeline, despite being the same character for the most part.

I think he would make a worthy companion or contact for Maylissa, due to their similarities.

Favorite/Current Armor/Clothing: Whatever looks really good on him. Though, nothing too extraordinaire. He does not fancy the design of the Stormcloak uniform. He prefers something more revealing and black and plain, whether it be thick for combat purposes or fine for casual purposes.
Focus: Too many to list... He's basically my first character for Skyrim, who was quick to do everything like an errand boy he isn't supposed to be. In TES reality, he will do whatever he must to secure a victory for the Stormcloaks, though he can be rather passive in some regard, due to his tendency to try to end conflict through peace and not violence. He will usually give a helping hand to those in need and invents in economic and social issues to better the lifestyle of his people, just as he is a strategist at war, almost trying to make the best move in the most rational manner possible. He does not pity a sad excuse, and has great disdain for those selfish who favor an easy way out, without regard for others, without seeing the forest for the trees. Examples would be the Thieves Guild, Imperial Legion, and oh, does he ever loathe the Dark Brotherhood and any Deadric worshipper of a Dark Deadra. Least he demands a given reason before accusations arise.
Base of Operations: A native of Windhelm. Currently resides here as a result of the war. He has a wealthy family of a large size. He left here to join the Legion many years ago, and became part of the "Paladins" so to say. He loves. Healing is a language of love. And he loves what is noble, just, reasonable. He does not understand why the Imperial Legion could be so naive as to be coaxed by a not-so-much greater power... even then, there is no reason to give away your arms, in exchange for those that will be used against other resistances, and peoples on behalf of a vile, foreign entity.

Other: He's a womanizer, of course. He will always have something positive to say about someone, especially those of the opposite gender and especially those of the same racial stock. He does not fancy non-Nords, but he does not think them to be ugly by any means.... except Khajiit and Argonians, though he does not express this, and often speaks of a beauty he does not actually believe in when speaking of them; their... females.
He is also a bearer of the frost, whose skin is cold and frozen is what is touched if he so desires. He is a naturalist when it comes to enchanting, and can turn a blade into a blade of frost really quickly when angered. His signature shouts are the Frost Breath and Ice Form... and perhaps, he may very well be a dragonborn of some kind.

She is currently scheming to see if there is any way to assist her friend Mjoll and drive the Thieves Guild and Maven out of the Rift.

Was shaken up by the narrow scraqe at Helgen and is trying to get back on the straight and narrow, but its a slippery slope and a painful experience could well send her back to her old ways, or worse... assuming she lives long enough, as shes a DiD character!
