Yeah to be honest, it's a good-enough game that most of us will be spending Hundreds of hours in it - well worth the wait.
I got it on launch day and don't feel special or advantaged in any way, actually I feel like the Microsoft guine-pig trying the very first release of software only to be smacked in the face a nasty bug. The savegame bug that cost me my entire first-nights progress! Took me half a day to get un-mad enough about this bug to start playing agian (because Bethesda and Obsidian should both feel ashamed about that one, as easy and instant it was hitting us, I can see no excuse for this one getting past them).
Yeah - some advantage getting it early has turned out to be.

Now your about to get it, and already Obsidian has patched the PC version (so some bugs we hit, you'll never see) and are working on updates for other bugs and all the platforms.
All things considered, being late to this party was not a bad deal.
