The Jarl's Chairs

Post » Sat Jun 16, 2012 5:54 am

Does anyone else notice how Ulfric has an enormous stone Throne and it looks very official and kingly, and then all of the other jarls have these very uncomfortable looking chairs? I don't know, it just kind of bothers me

I think it's because that was the throne of the very first king of Skyrim, Ysgramor even if I am not wrong?

Exactly. Although i would rather sit in a normal chair rather then an all stone throne.

As would I, but it's kinda hard to say "I want to restore the Nords to glory but I don't like what they build so I'm going to ignore the giant throne.. I guess what I'm saying is that Ysgramor may have thought this was nice, but he was an idiot and doesn't understand ergonomics and sometimes change is necessary."

That would be a horrible way to sell your rebellion.

Stone would just make him all the more cold aswell. No wonder he's so grumpy all the time.

You intepret to much. They are jarls, they should have all unique Thrones, but it's simply because Betheseda didn't make the effort in it, for example for Baguruf Throne there exist a artwork of a crystalthrone, but Betheseda thougt it would be to much work, for just one throne.

More of this "everything should be exactly equal" mentality. No imagination.

My character looked very good on that throne. Slouching is flattering, I must say ;)
