The Master in F:NV.

Okay, so before you all say what a dumb idea this is i just wanted to point out that the master was a super inteligent gelatinous creature formed by huge amounts of exposure to FEV and radiation. who knows what he was capable of? true you might have shot at him for a while.. and then nuked his church, or talked him out of his plan and got him to nuke it but that doesn't mean he has to be dead.

Once the master knew his plan was flawed he knew he had to put a stop too it. he couldn't just leave, or tell them not too because none of the crazy children of the cathedral would listen. so he blows up the church to kill them all( he odviously has no problem with that). while the blast itself would be amazingly strong there is no way of telling if the master would be capable of surviving it. the radiation would most likely not afect him so all he would need to survive was the blastwave, heat and crushing rubble. assuming he is fire resistant (how long did it take you to "kill" him with that flamethrower?) and that the blast wouldn't have much effect on him in his current state...possible...he would be fine.

I know alot of you want somthing new. you already had to go over a repeat of the enclave...almost the exact same plan infact, but I think that A fantastic game could be created, if not totally around the master, then to include him. He was a fantastic character, with a interesting and hefty background (that of himself and all his minds bits and parts) and a personality and ideals that make alot of sence. I feel that his time was too short. that fallout one, because of the era it was made in, wasn't a large enough game for the master to fully develope and reach the full potential that the amazing idea that was the master had.

Just imagine the master being one of the people that is not a odvious bad guy. Wouldn't it be nice to hear his arguments for things, he exelent reasoning and calculated veiw of right and wrong and be able to honestly agree with him?

The master is a exellent character that i would like to see more of. i am just curious to see if anyone else feels the same way

I think the canon ending to Fallout 1 is his death by the Vault Dweller. So that would be one major Retcon if he came back.....

I'm happy with the Master being dead and gone. It's not like the Enclave, which have tons of little splinter cells, we're talking one monster, and the Vault Dweller was witness to him becoming quite dead.

No. Why can't we get any new factions in fallout? If the franchise continues using the same old thing, it will deffinentally crash, and burn.
