I just hit level 30 and wanted to thank him but I couldn't find a way to post on his GQ thread so maybe he's watching these forums if he's active on FNV. I didn't follow it exactly, have to take some liberty, but I love this build right now. I can walk through Deathclaws and Cazadors without a problem. You have to be remotely smart, or good at fighting I suppose, but other than that I can kill just about anything with a one two combination. When I see a cazador I might shoot one with a rifle and then I just walk into the nest and start punching. If I don't kill it on the first blow the strike will knock it back and I can go into fats or just swing one more time.
Overall I'm really pleased, my only blunder was I wanted to test out the survival skill so it ended up getting to 92 with the skill books. It's nice to be able to pop a desert salad and turn on the HP recovery, but it's not as cool as I thought it would be, maybe I'm missing something. At the least it's kind of fun to wander around and look for herbs and shrubs while kicking the crap out of a deathclaw.
