The Muties Stole My Truck and a job well done.

First of all I'm about seven hours into Rage and enjoying it immensely. I really think that the polish and attention to detail and variety is something special and I do hope Id revisits the universe.

I do think the team at Id have missed a trick. Back in the late 80's there was a game called The Muties Stole My Truck (Unfortunately the site won't let me link to the World Of Spectrum page.) . The blurb goes something like this : "You are Brad, a post-apocalyptic truck driver who likes nothing more than trundling down the motorway with a Yorkie in one hand and a machine gun in the other! The only thing you cared about in the world was your 18 wheel truck, and now the naughty mutants have gone and stolen it for no apparent reason (ooo, how naughty!). Of course your mission is to now reclaim your 40 foot property and get home before tea time. To get the truck back you must battle your way through zombie infested forests, parched wasteland and Tescos on a Friday night, collecting weapons, ammo, first aid kits and the odd tin of baked beans."

Playing through the game I couldn't help thinking that some DLC or an Easter Egg based on this would be absolutely awesome.

Funny. I had my car stolen while in the sewers. I have never had that happen before, anyone else?

Seriously? Your car was stolen as a part of the gameplay?
Never happened to me but i always thought it was stupid to leave the car alone, fearing it could be stolen or damaged but came to the conclusion that this does only happen in real life.

I'm not sure. I was just fooling with the game after the patch and went in the sewer to test it out. Came back and my car was gone.

I've had my motorcycle stolen, lol, not destroyed. In the intro area.

Until someone records the bandits doing it, though, I think it's just a glitch.

However, something I want in Rage2 is the ability to steal vehicles. I know about the "beefed up" motorcycle you get, but what I REALLY wanted was the Ghost clan's vehicle, it looked badass. Yet when I approached it, I couldn't drive it, it was like a static object. Needless to say I was very pissed.

Actually i stole the little 4 wheeler with the fancy horns attached when i exited the... I forgot the name! The british guys where you have to reclaim the stolen engine parts. You know what i mean.

But after driving around with it and then parking it into Hagar settlement's garage, it was gone when i came back after a while.
But it wasn't my car so i didn't really care about it and went back on foot to reclaim my own car i had left at the entrance.
