The Mysterious Tale of a Man Called Eddie

Post » Wed Apr 13, 2011 3:48 pm

Living in a beautiful America, a young boy named Eddie lived his life out peacefully.
One day his parents wanted to get him a nuclear powered car, so he decided on what name to put on the license, ED-E-ME,
He loved that car, he had spent more hours in it than countable,
Then came the Great war.
Eddie wasn't in his car at that moment, because he was asleep, his usual nap.
His car was partially destroyed, and he died.
That would be the end of the story, yes?
No.
Eddie's spirit had lost it's physical body, and was searching for a replacement...His car.
After many years, he finally became self aware, as a floating eye-bot.
That's when a Courier saved him from his frozen state.
Ed-e was alive again.
He was also insane after the years of torment, loneliness, the destruction of his car body, the painful rebuilding into an eye-bot for an evil american remnant group.
Eddie was now ED-E.
Nothing could change that.
So he rode with the wanderer, incredibly violent.
Until one day, the courier spontaneously decided to take him to those who where doctors.
They stole ED-E's things, and gave him a more powerful gun.
ED-E went power hungry, crazy to become more experienced in battle.
But one day, in a death-claw cave, Eddie came out, telling ED-E not to be cocky.
That life was gone, thought ED-E.
ED-E never left that cave.
Unable to deal with dying a second time ED-E followed the courier pretending to be alive, spooking townsfolk, driving rex off.
He was still there, and to this day Eddie's spirit haunts my PS3.
The moral of this story, children, is that some people should be left alone.
'Less you want pain.

I was going to say there's a sub-forum for fan fiction, but now I'm just confused....
