The new radio DJ

I'm sorry, but Mr. New Vegas has got nothing on Three Dog. Personally, I absolutely loved Three Dog's radio personality but Mr. New Vegas just makes me want to sleep.

Then listen to Black Mountain instead. Mr. New Vegas is Mr. Las Vegas, baby.

I like Mr. New Vegas. His voice kind of reminds me of Casey Kasem, for those of you who used to listen to AT40 until Ryan Seacrest took over. I'm not a big fan of the station itself, though; it literally plays about five songs, but I was under the distinct impression that there would be more licensed music in this game than there was in Fallout 3. If Three Dog can get his hands on so many records in the Capital Wasteland, am I to believe that Mr. New Vegas can't?

Mr. New Vegas needs to have Danke Schoen. It's a tragedy that I've not heard it.

Yeah, you'd think that they would have at least had one song by Wayne in the playlist.

They aren't just going to make a three dog clone, hell.. i killed three dog in fallout 3. so he's dead.

No one is happy.. its either too much like fallout 3... or its too different than fallout 3...

Glad to know I'm not the only one being put to sleep by Mr Vegas... the music selection this time around is a yawner for me too...

Im very disappointed in the lack of a music collection. I wouldnt even mind hearing some instrumental Banjo goin on or something. I just keep changing the station whenever i hear Johnny Guitar. I cant stand it

Right on, some people are never happy with anything. I think Wayne is the only one to have for Radio New Vegas. He is Mr. Vegas.
Don't like it don't listen to it. I do and will....
People really complain way to much about all the little things in any game. I'm sure the developers were very happy
to get a person like Wayne to work with them on their game and they should be commended for it...

I agree with that. You can hardly think of a better person to personify Las Vegas than Wayne Newton himself. 40 years later, his shows in Vegas are still selling out, after all. :P This is some major star power here.

I don't know, maybe Mr. New Vegas will grow on me. I'm from the DC area so Three Dog was a very peppy and uplifting persona, very much like the DJs of the radio stations I normally listen to (DC101's Elliot and 98 Rock's Mickey, Amelia, and Spiegel). I guess Three Dog was a perfect radio personality for the DC area, so naturally the new radio personality needs to personify Vegas.

I love Mr New Vegas, and I HATED 3 dog. I wish there was another President Eden though, he was the best voice actor in the game and hes a fantastic movie/television actor.

You would think they'd have asked him if he could set them up with a song or two when he came in to do the voice work.

I like Mr. New Vegas better than 3Dog. I found 3Dog to be cheesy and obnoxious, but everybody's got an opinion. I like how Mr. New Vegas sounds kinda drunk and creepy, and how he talks to the audience like a woman he's drunkenly trying to pick up in a bar. Besides, it's freakin' Wayne Newton! I like the music, too. I don't know if I'd say it's better or worse than Fallout 3, but I like it and the mood in conveys.

@ryuz4ke1 - Yeah, McDowell was awesome in Fallout 3. Sooooo much better than 3Dog.

I know dude Im really suprised no one has mentioned him in this thread, if he had more stories and said some different things I would have listened to that radio station all the time. My main problem with the radio stations in FO3 and NV is the damn DJ's dont have enough lines, they should have just recorded them talking for like 2 hours a day for a week then just spaced it out in between songs.

The DJs are fine but every time I hear frikkin' Johnny Guitar come on I want to empty a clip into the radio.

I hope there's a quest where I can go into each radio station and break the world's last remaining copies of Johnny Guitar into a million pieces.

Three Dog was awful, and Wayne newton is great.

The problem is the songs...I swear there's only 2 or 3 of them.

I'm a Black Mtn Radio fan myself---Tabitha is hilarious, and there is no Johnny Guitar...at least not that I've heard.

Quoted for truth. I totally agree, the DJ's lines are what gets really boring. But I dont care I love the music!
