1. Where would you like it to be set?
2. What would you like the story to be about?

I'll just answer the first question- Elswyr. A desert setting will be a new and refreshing change in the Elder Scrolls series.

1. Anywhere that looks nice and has decent variation in microclimates
2. Anything that isn't entirely cliche

1: What does this have to do with Skyrim?

2: There is already an official topic for the discussion of the next TES game.

1. Somewhere with lots of woods and rivers and hills and very few unscalable mountains.
2. Absolutely NOTHING! That would be the greatest gift of TES VI. Just free roaming in a living vivid world where things progress in their own pace regardless of my actions. No major plot would be such a relief.

...no? That sounds absurdly boring. Storyline is good.

Yes, I am also hoping for Elswyr, especially as there is so few Khajiits in Skyrim it will be interesting to see more of them.

I'd like to see an ES with more land variance so instead of a full region, half of Elswyr and Half of Blackmarsh would be neat kind of like Daggerfall did half Highrock and half Hammerfell.

Think it would be interesting because you would have to sail from one region to another and they could add a bunch of small islands in between.

but if just going for just one region, i'm all for Blackmarsh. Draugr were fun to fight in Skyrim, but need to battle a whole legion of undead from skeletons to Draugr, to zombies to other reanimated fleshy horrors and necromantic cults. Blackmarsh would be a cool setting for that, all swampland and dark tropical forests. Could also have some cannibalistic factions like the Forsworn all willing to cook you up good!

That would be very interesting. A world where you could act and seriously affect to goings on of the people, or not and the world would just keep moving forward.

Then again at some point the world would probably end.

I'm not saying there shouldn't be quests, just not one major quest that makes the player the center of the universe. There can be subplots that involves the player, they just shouldn't have an impact on the world.
