I was on Youtube, browsing some Elder Scrolls videos, and people already want the next Elder Scrolls?! It's pretty ridiculous, considering the reply value for Skyrim is awesome (Same with Oblivion and Morrowind), and the dlc isn't even out for Skyrim yet. Almost every person too, is praying for "The Elder Scrolls VI: Elsweyr." I could totally see why though, because I was thinking to myself the same thing. Elsweyr would be a great terrain. A lot of deserts and jungles. I honestly don't even wanna think about an other Elder Scrolls So anyway, considering how much you know on TES lore, where would you want the NEXT Elder Scrolls to take place?

Black Marsh. I have a feeling it is gonna be there due to the books.

I think most people would like between summerset isle or black marsh.people want that same alien landscape feel like when they first played morrowind.

I don't care where the next installment takes us... as long as it's set within either the Merethic or 1st Era.

Honestly, It's going to be either the Khajiits homeland, or the Argonian homeland. (Elsweyr or Black Marsh)

Why would beth go back to the first era? there's no point in that maybe as a random dlc but a whole game dosen't sound like beth will do that. lets see what these thalmer have planed.

We do not need a new Elder Scrolls.We just need expansions to other areas.Like Elysware and Hammerfell. More towns to explore an some new quest an some new villains an raid content.an i would say approximately 2000 more new quest. 400 completely different character models for NPCs.About 50 more voice actors. at least 20 more gear sets am some sixy robes for a change.See Tera for more explanation on that or check out.

Because these should be added to the game.The theme is beautiful.As a man yes i say beautiful.i`m an Artist so sue me.

Making statements like these is the best way to set yourself up for future disappointment. The next game in the series could take place in the Summerset Isles or Valenwood just as well, or almost any other location Bethesda would like to dream up, really. And setting a game in the Summerset Isles probably wouldn't take nearly as much effort as setting the game in an utterly alien location like Black Marsh, which might not even appeal to people who aren't real fans of the series (ie anyone who frequents this forum).

As an argonie fan or more broadly a beast fan I'll keeping my fingers crossed for something exciting like Elsweyr but at the same time I think I'll brace myself for the moment the other shoe drops...

A DLC involving the Thalmor sounds like a great DLC for Skyrim because it fits with the theme and the current situation.

What I'm talking about the next TES installment (The Elder Scrolls VI). There's a boat load of lore and content inside the Merethic and 1st Era that Bethesda has yet to tap into... why not go there next?

I'm more of a fan of unique DLC's, like The Shivering Isles or Mothership Zeta (Fallout 3). I wasn't a big fan of the War questline in Skyrim. But, Through my experience with TES I'm so used to the third era. I have to say, I completely love the Septim Dynasty haha. The 1st era or Merethic era would be weird and hard for me to get used to. It also would probably take place in Valenwood. I'm open to the idea though.

Next Elder Scrolls: All we pick is race and birth sign, all skills start at 0, and you can change your birth sign whenever you want.

That way everyone can be anything with no differences at all!

um, i think its hammerfell? it sounds like there is a resistance movement there and stuff.

High Rock or Hammerfell are my choices. But like OP has said.. there's still SO much I haven't even done in this game yet. And the fact the DLC hasn't even been released yet..

I seriously can't believe people already want a new one.. that's quite sad.

I once had a crazy idea for an Elder Scrolls that took place during the beginnings of the Alessian uprisings and you could help Alessia or the Aylieds. I also had an idea for an RPG in Roman times. Fun to come up with ideas.

I actually had a stupid idea of making some sort of war game base on TES Lore. (Like how "Halo Wars" are base on Halo Lore).

That would be fun though wont be part of the main TES series and mostly just a side one like the others.

wasnt a thread already locked for this today? there is already a thread in TES discussion (which is where this belongs, honestly) but i'll play along!! iv heard the next game should be in Elsweyr but i think it should be elsewhere, namely black marsh, it is by far the most interesting and deadly province (and deadly is good, deadly is fun!!)

I want to see Elsewyr. I want to play my favorite race in their homeland.

And as for expansions, I wish Beth would create a division dedicated to mods and incorporating them into the game for everyone. The mods I've been seeing lately blow me away and make adequate additions in my book. Less work for them, more awesome for us.

my money says if there is another TES game.. it will be a VERY long time before its released. anyway.. elsweyr could be good. rainforests, badlands, khajiit drug factories etc..
