The 'not so' Mini Nuke Issue

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 5:17 am

Hello,

I'm new to these fourms but I've been playing fallout since it first came out on the Xbox360.

Okay, so I read though 'Revans' topic and he/she said that they want more firepower on the mini nuke and I agree with this. Let's face it we have all seen the megaton nuke go off, even the wasteland messiah's have made a second account just to see Mr.Buke use the detonator and watch megaton turn into a nuclear pile of dust and ruins. Compare the moment of that explosive to the one of a mini nuke.. its disappointing but to even this out there is a abundunce of mini nukes everywhere and I believe this is wrong.

I think they explosive radius in NV should be about double what it is in F3, let's face it, it's still a nuke even it it is a down sized version of it, when the hydrogen atoms hit each other and cause a nuclear explosion even on a small scale would sill be pretty devesating, The amount of mini nukes you get should be limited in the vinilla game but then maybe with a add-on you find a nuclear testing area and as a perk you learn how to make mini nukes at a certain level. I belive the amount of nukes should be limited because I think its silly that so early on in the game you can go to moria in the craterside supply and find a nuke in her pocket that you can actully buy! Its disgrace to a RPG game that you can use such strong weapons without getting to a certain level or without having a certain strengh or something
