You ain't missing much. Stupid 20c pieces that look like pounds from a distance...
That reminds me, I wish I'd kept some one pound notes when they went out of circulation. I guess I was too skint to hoard them. I also used to have a box of random old coins from around the world somewhere, nothing valuable but quite interesting; but I haven't seen it in at least 25 years so I think I can conclude that I've lost it...

There used to be an amusemant arcade in Southport where they used all these old machines. You paid with modern money and they gave you these gigantic predecimal pennies to use in the machines.
I randomly found a "Carl XIV Gustaf . Sverige"-coing from 1978.. I can't use that in my country though, not sure if i could use it in sweden either... It's a 1 KR coin. :unsure2:
All of my coins end up in a candy dish on my dresser the minute I walk in the door. When its full they go in a metal bank box until I take them to be rolled. Basically, I don't have any on my person.
I keep a silver quarter from 1964 in my pocket. Its lucky.
The oldest coin I own is a http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Barber_coinage from 1893. It has been so heavily used that it is almost completely flat on both sides. You can barely make out the details of it.
