The one thing that honestly bothers me

I'm fine with people who say they don't like Skyrim or call it a piece of [censored]. It doesn't bother me since people have different opinions on everything. There are many things I personally wish Bethesda changed, like level scaling, Destruction magic, and especially AI. I can understand all these issues. But when people start calling the people at Bethesda "lazy", I get a little ticked off. Seriously, these people spent three years, some of them more, to make a game. I don't think they created the game with the purpose of trying to piss consumers off with a difficult UI, or linear quest lines. It's totally alright to not like what direction the series is going as a whole. But I just think it's so rude and audacious to call Bethesda's employees lazy when it's clear they've put a tremendous amount of work in their game.

Game creators aren't lazy.

Game players are.

The disconnect between people who make comments online and the subjects they speak about allows for a historically unprecedented level of dikeishness.

It's like folk music, you don't have to like what you hear, but you should appreciate it for what it is.

I agree. The last thing Bethesda is, is lazy. Every game they've made is huge and unique, and their attention to deatil is amazing.

The forums are a window to society in general.

Rudeness, the need for instant gratification, the inability to appreciate different view points, and general complaining when things aren't exactly the way someone wants them.

Spoiled children who were born with smart phones and iPads in their hands and think they deserve everything.

They want the devs to "fix" everything, because the idea of them changing the way they play a game doesn't work in their world.

In a year, all these types will have grown bored with Skyrim, leaving the rest of us to relax, hang out, and chat about our game.

I remember my parents saying my generation is destined for failure. Being the "smarter than everybody" teenage self, I brushed them off with a shrug of my shoulder and thought about how they're too old to understand.

Here I am, with two daughters of my own, repeating what my parents said 20 years earlier.

I'm sure that this vicious cycle has been around since we were converted to Homo Sapiens... and it will continue until our species goes extinct.

I don't think this younger generation is destined for failure. They'll find their groove ands eventually grow up... We all do... But

All one has to do is turn on the tv, watch it for an hour, and one can see the general lack of respect that is at an all time high.

One thing though... as a parent of one of these children... well... It's our fault. We raised this generation and we created these demons... hehe
