Am I the only one who finds Ancient Nord Swords to be the be : V

Yes, I know.. Daedric looks pretty awesome. But it's so over used to me, it just doesn't seem cool to me to be wielding a Daedric sword.. yet I find Ancient Nord Swords to be one of the best ones I've found.

Opinions?

Daedric and these ancient Nord swords are the two best looking swords in the game in my humble opinion.

This is only counting the general weapons of course.

I really like the ANWs. In fact most of my characters use them until mid to late game. I am with the OP.

I liked using the ancient nord greatsword with my nord character. some of them look cool but I cant stand how the axe looks.

I'm not big on the ancient nord weapons at all.
I like the silver longsword well enough, but it doesn't do enough damage.
My favorite weapons are glass. They're pretty.

The ancient Nord weapons just gave a good design to them, its a design I find very appealing.

I love ancient nord weapons, mostly for their design. They've got a very rough, cultural feel to them that most weapons lack

I like em.
But im more partial to silver swords (WHY oh WHY cant i smith these?) and I also enjoy the look of dwarven swords. Elven axes. Ebony mace.

I completely agree. I love using full Ancient Nord Armor/Weapons on my nord dragonslayer, I only wish this gear was a little more comparable to maybe Dwarven or Orcish gear...

The iron shield is the ugliest thing I ever seen in a game hahaha no offense and the steel plate helmet too. The others are good but beth need to work in an improve for that weapons and armors.

Personally, I find the ancient Nord weapons to be rather ugly. Nor am I a fan of Daedric weapons (or armor, for that matter). My favorite weapons are probably the steel ones.

i like the "flowing" look to ebony arms personally, i only ever use swords and daggers as all the one handed axes and maces look...or i guess they actually lack the elegance of some of the swords.

Ancient Nord weapons, I can't say I really like. Design is great, just don't like the texture, I prefer my swords new looking. But it makes sense they look like that, sitting in a tomb for who knows how long.

But the Nord Hero weapons you get at the end of the Companions, those are great. Some of my favorites. They are basically new looking, shiny, ancient nord weapons.
