Am I the only one who has...

I have a mirror next to my staircase and every time I walk by it I feel scared because I think there's someone else there :cryvaultboy:

This is a traditional Am I the only one thread...so commence with your stories of your foolish acts

You should stay away from horror games.

Am I the only one who keeps track of where on the towel his bum is dried off so that - despite it being damn near sparkling clean after a shower - the area does not overlap with the area used for face drying or hand drying prior to doing contact lenses?

I've never done it. :( I feel that I should now.

Am I the only one that sits with my legs in my chair? It makes me feel feminine but it's more comfy to me. (I mean like both my feet are on the same surface my butt is on)

Am I the only one who secretly hopes to become a moderator, more than any paying job at the moment?

I do sometimes, but more often I sit with my feet up on my desk, even if I'm sitting right at the desk. So I surf in the fetal position.

I do all of these. I also check clean glasses for anything the dishwasher might have missed, and if there's anything in them I'll put them back to be washed. I think I should get myself checked for OCD.

I do that too AKA. I also sometimes go spread eagle (for lack of a better term) when I'm watching something, I have some weird ways of being comfortable at the computer chair.

Am I the only one who, despite not liking to be around other people..has a hard time sleeping (without any lights on at least) when I'm alone at home?

You're totally not alone. Mirrors creep me out, especially in the half-light. I blame being subjected to the Bloody Mary game one too many times at teenage sleepovers.

Am I the only one who will walk all around a floor turning lights on and off just to make sure all the light switches on one plate are in the same direction?

Mannequin's in stores give me the creeps sometimes. It seems like it's a person standing there.

When I'm riding my motorcycle, I get the overwhelming fear that I'm going to:

Spoiler
...sneeze my false teeth out while doing 60 miles per hour...

Right now I'm sitting on one foot and the resting on a stretcher* ;). I use chairs in a variety of unconventional ways.

*Name for a part of the chair.

I experienced a hallucination once, where I saw a man standing behind me in a mirror. It scared the [censored] out of me. Since then, I avoid looking into any mirrors at night, as well as reflective glass.

I do these sometimes, except it's the mirror over the bathroom sink.

Am I the only one who swears he hears someone calling his name while I have headphones on, but really no one was?

When I drink a can of soft drink, I make sure the area your mouth is going to touch is clean and there is nothing in the crevices around the top of the can.

I Also make sure there is no gunk on the glasses when they come out of the dish washer.

Lol dont trip bro, sometimes I am washing my face without my contacts in and my eyes are closed; and I think sometimes when I look up back into the mirror I'm gonna see someone standing behind me and it's gonna be all blurry and horror movie status :D

I do these. I have a huge mirror covering one wall of my bedroom which I always forget about if I wake up in the night, so when I sit up I nearly have a heart attack when I see a figure (my reflection) rising up in my peripheral vision.
Even though I've lived alone for about 2 years now, I still have to keep the landing light on occasionally. :P

Am I the only one who trips over their feet on a regular basis? You'd think I'd have gotten used to having feet by now, but I still manage to accidentally kick my own toes when I walk.

Nope :spotted owl:

And when I was young I wouldn't go near mirrors, I also do the towel thing, and I still on occasion see a very frightening image in the dark that is humanoid in form, usually via a bunch of stacked up items that I forgot were there. When I am in the woods on a misty day, I often see the Slender Man in the mess of branches..... :bolt:

I never understood the fascination with putting mirrors up all over the house. One in each bathroom is plenty. I swear every time I go to a hotel there's a mirror pointed right at the bed. Makes me feel like I'm being watched while I sleep since that's a popular place to hide cameras.

Nah it's ok, I'm known for being a huge coward. I actually jumped while playing Terraria the other day (those bloody tunnelling worms sneak up on me!)

That's not why I dislike mirrors, most people would say that I am supersticious, but I say better safe than sorry.

It is said that mirrors retain emotions, and record events. They are often times found to be the cause of a haunting. Ever get uneasy around a certain mirror? More so than around other mirrors? Chances are something not so swell happened in that mirrors presence.

If you believe in that sort of thing.............. :ninja:

Nope as I happen to like mirrors and quite often I can't help but look at my reflection. And then realize that I should stop being such a narcissus.

I too find it more comfortable made easy by good flexibility.
