The only way ill play as a vampire in the new dlc is if I can travel during the day without burning up its annoying hopefully since your a vampire lord you can be unharmed by the sun unlike your lesser brothers and sadly since my main character is a wolf I'm going to assume becoming a vampire gets rid of the wolf powers.

Nothing. Pure, unmitigated Redguard - anything less than the best is a felony.

The only reason for me not playing a vampire in the vanilla game, I don't like having to feed. But this DLC is fixing that and making it easier to feed...so good bye werewolf

same thing turned me to want to join dawnguard... that was one of the annoyances with oblivion... you would loose so much health as a vampire in the sun. i actually became i vampire once, it wasnt full on because it was healed with a potion to cure disease, but im not sure how skyrim vampires work exactly

I think you'll have to cure your lycanthropy before becoming a vampire, seeing as you have a 100% disease resistance. You don't "burn up" in the sun in Skyrim, you just don't regenerate lost magika, health or stamina; so far as I know.

You won't take damage in the day as a vampire, your skills will be affected and you wont be as powerfull, but thats to be expected.

I dont want to become a vampire, werewolves seem to fit my characters skills better.

Already am a Vampire...And you don't burn, you just don't regenerate health, magicka, and stamina while in the sun.

...And explain to me how being a Master of the Night, a Vampire Lord would make you immune to the sun? If anything it should destroy you, a creature of darkness.
The story behind Dawnguard is about blocking out the sun for a reason, y'know.

I think that, if you help the vampires, something is done to the Sun in the DLC so you no longer suffer for being out in the sun.
