The Orcs! They're all Dead!

Post » Sun Jun 03, 2012 6:33 am

I found the fort Narzulbur. Sweet!
Just got the forging fingers for the Chief! I'm a blood-kin now! Yay!
A damn Ancient Dragon swoops down and fries the whole town. The WHOLE town.
I killed the dragon.
What now? Everyone is Dead. Everyone.

Nothing, and you likely missed a Daedric quest. Better have a spare save.

The same thing happened to me but I had to reload again and again until I was able to destroy the dragon before it killed them. And then I went into the chief's house and it turned 9 PM while I was inside, so I was essentially trespassing and failed the quest. lol

There are four Orc strongholds in total. The one with the Daedric quest is the one near Riften (Largashbur).

(There is a Daedric quest that is initiated near Narzulbur, but it has nothing to do with Narzulbur itself).

Crap - I hope it doesn't have anything to do with the female Orc you can get as a follower. She was killed by a giant. <_<

Unfortunately it does - the giant killed her in my game, too.

Played four times and never got the opportunity to hire her. Three times I found her body on the road the fourth she was nowhere around.

Nope, the Daedric quest is actually in the Stronghold named Largashbur, so OP is good to go. There are other strongholds, so I wouldn't worry about a few dead Orcs =p

Are you absolutely sure? I really don't want to have to go back that far to save Na-na...whatever it is. Largashbur only? I got the forged fingers done at Nag-whatsit so I should be all good for there.

Yes, I'm sure! Don't worry about the orcs there. Make sure you get the skill book in that stronghold!

See there? No further quests happening in that locale! Now go and loot it! hahahaha

correct....Largashbur is the only orc camp with a deadric quest....... the problem you might run into is that since the forged fingers quest was started in Narzulbur, you might only be able to complete it in that camp, thus making it impossible to finish...... but if you do the deadric quest in Largashbur, you will become accepted inn all orc camps as if you had completed the forged fingers quest, but it will remian stuck in your quest log......

Yeah. I finished the F-fingers. Done. I just went back there to trade afterwards and the blasted dragon took 'em all out. Thanks for the info!

if you are only worried about being accepted in an orc stronghold then you can do it another way.

there is a quest in the mine camp just outside of markarth. if you do that quest an orc tells you that

he will tell the strongholds that you are OK.
