The Quest for 100 Dragonscale Sets

Post » Tue Jun 05, 2012 1:51 pm

So I'm going to start doing a series of random goals, and decided that I'd go for 100 Dragonscale sets. I just think it'd be kinda cool ya know? So while I work towards total game completion on my Skirmisher, apart from leveling skills, I'll be collecting dragon scale along the way. I'll visit the word walls every once and a while and obviously kill any dragon I see.

I'll be keeping a log on this thread, for anyone who is interested.

Well, for one, this is more about the journey and less about the practicality of having that many sets. And two, I wouldn't want to do this glitch 100 times anyway.

This is a seriously random goal. :P

I thought that since I was the Dragonborn and the one killing and looting dragons, I was the only one that could have stuff made out of dragons. (Wasn't selling any scales or bones). But I did see dragonscale/bone stuff appear in random loot :/

If Dragon made stuff didn't appear in loot and vendors I could guess you want to be the only Smith offering Dragon gear to the population of Tamriel... so I have to ask, why do you want to make 100 sets of Dragonscale?

I definitely understand adding additional challenges. For my characters, they cannot sell gemstones. I save them for my treasure hoard. Also, this time around I am saving all Peerless items. I do other things too like not selling smithing or alchemy items assuming it would dilute the market. So, yeah, I totally get the idea.

I want to cook like the Gourmet. Sadly, I can't.

Potage le Magnifique

4 Cups of Chicken Broth
4 Cups Beef Broth
2 1/2 ounces of Butter
1 Wooden Flagon of Flour
1 Cup Diced Carrots
1/2 Cup Diced Onions

Butter? What's that?

Good luck on the dragon scales. Less rare than butter.
