I've done the main quest, and the Thieves Guild in a previous "life". This time around I have started both but left them to do the Dark Brotherhood quest line. Now I have finished the DB quests (well the official quest line anyway) I was thinking of joining the Companions, no idea what that will lead to. But before I do, what would you recommend? I'm a Dark Elf, archery specialist, not using magic, other than healing and transmutation (the most OP spell in the game for me, but can't resist using it).

Well, if you aren't using magic then there's not much point in joining the mage's college so you may as well do the Companions. There are a couple of cool surprises there if you haven't done it yet. Either that or you could seek out some of the Daedra quests. Some of those are pretty cool too.

Agreed seek out the daedra they're some of the best quests. I didn't like the companions - felt too forced.

Companions and deadric quests for sure. I thought the Companions quest line could have been a few missions longer but whatever. At least it's no College quest line. line fragment.

I didn't like the Companions questline very much, It starts off pretty cool, but then it just goes downhill from there. I was actually kind of disappointed at the end. I agree that the Daedric quests are really cool though, all the ones I've done so far have been a lot of fun.
