The random movie thread!

What are some of the random movies you guys have recently watched?

I recently just watched the Uwe Boll movie "Rampage." The movie is basically about a 23 year old who decides to go on a killing spree in his small town with duel wielding SMG's because the world needs population control. Needless to say it wasn't a movie for the faint of heart really. It wasn't as terrible as I thought it would be. I don't want to spoil anything but his plan works a little too perfectly which makes this worthwhile to watch.

One movie I don't have the courage to see but want to view purely because it looks like the most vile disgusting motion picture ever is "Slaughtered Vomit Dolls" (try to find a preview of it online if you haven't seen it yet). Just the trailer alone was enough to freak me and my buddies out and I'm one who usually has no fear when it comes to movies. I'm sure I would hate it, it looks like a terrible movie but for some reason I want to see if I can make it through it.

I watched Barney's Version the other day.

I like when movies course over a whole person's life. The story itself is pretty interesting. Barney (played by Paul Giamatti) falls in love with a girl at his wedding and he spends years trying to get this girls attention while hes married to his wife (played by mini driver). In the end they get a divorce (his wife cheats on him) and he continues to chase this girl for the rest of his life.

It shows the power of determination and also shows the irony of failure.

I rewatched the princess bride a few hours ago, but I recently decided to view Youth and Revolt, which was mind blindingly good

I watched Catfish the other night. If you're interested in a documentary about internet relationships (not necessarily romantic ones) check it out. Don't read anything about it ahead of time, though. Watching the story unfold is the highlight of the film. I'll bet it's not what you expect. :P

If you want a horror movie that will take your understanding of the movie and kill it, see The Abandoned. The end of the movie left me like this: :bonk:

Titanic 2

It was as bad as it sounds
And Megashark vs Crocosaurus, it had the doctor from Star Trek Voyager in it.

And thanks to pandaman77 I'm going to rewatch Princess Bride tonight
