Hey! so i'm on this quest which includes the native armor/robes/weapons (im guessing there native havnt red all redguard lore) the only thing im wondering is;

will i get another chance other than this quest from whiterun to get them? or do i have to murder them?

i only ask as this is going to effectively affect the RP direction of my long-time character (throug hall TES games) and this armor is.....perfect for the character he is

Apparently Scimitars can be crafted as a steel weapon according to UESP. I'm pretty sure I've seen hammerfell garbs being sold somewhere, don't know.

You can find Scimitars on pirates nearby the Solitude lighthouse.

I saw Redguard clothing at Radiant Rainment in Solitude.

Scimitars can be found on the Dainty Sload, which is a ship near Solitude Lighthouse. The enemies on the ship have scimitars, which you can loot. http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Corsair

And like someone said, Reguard clothes can be purchased at Radiant Rainment in Solitude. So basically, head to Solitude.

i wish we could buy the red version of the hammerfell garb . having played a thief that only wears enchanted clothes (no robes , no armours ) , i was found wanting for more clothing types and combos to enchant , especially for the head

I got some redguard garb elsewhere. anyway I m siding with sadia, so non-issue for me.

There is a scimitar underneath a wrecked row-boat up on the north coast somewhere between dawnstar and the college (Some poor dude stacked it I guess as there is also knapsack and a skeleton)

If you 'Destroy the dark brotherhood' you get the full redgaurd kit from a guy in the sanctuary. hood, clothes, boots and scimitar. My orc looks quite fetching in his ebony armour with his new redgaurd hood. I think it's my favourite 'hat' in the game. First I had Alik'r but red is way cooler.

Acutally, maybe it meant that they could only be improved through smithing with steel ingots rather than being able to be crafted. I haven't checked in-game.

There were two Hammerfell guys standing at the front gate to Whiterun for months for some reason. Talking to them wouldn't generate a quest, and talking to Saadia wouldn't generate conversation about them, so I slit their throats in the night and took their swords. Unfortunately, I also had to kill the guard at the gate, but, meh. They look great on a weapon rack in my house in Windhelm, and that's what's important.

Thanks for the answers everyone in the end I decided to trust neither and once I got the bounty reward I put an arrow In Kematus head and then killed saadia I didn't want to wait until I headed to solitude that will be a while! Haha.

There's some bits of Redguard clothing in Frostflow Lighthouse - and that's a GREAT questline too.... though sad.

I'm surprised Windshear hasn't been mentioned. It is a unique scimitar that staggers with every hit. Overpowered, but great. It is embedded at the very far end of the forward mast of the emperor's ship in the DB questline.

There is a small ship wrecked near Dawnstar that has a scimitar in it.

Radiant Raiment in Solitude sells Hammerfell clothing.
