it was kinda out there to become a cannibal... but i figured since my character had already been a werewolf and feasted on humans (since cured) that I might as well join the party. Turns out he missed his old chow time more than he knew haha.

Yep, I wasn't into doing this quest either. I'd done all the others and picked up the trophy. I was bored and caved and did it the other night...ugh.

I did it for the achievement, but can't see how this ring would be useful on any RP except on Bosmer PC.

That'd be me. Eola* and I only feast on the leaders we have to hunt thru dungeons for. We leave with the trophy in our stomachs.

* (my pet carnivore who never barks, rarely talks, sneaks well, rocks magic and staves, stays at range, and doesn't look too shabby in Forsworn armor)

I dislike the fact I would have to participate in something so vile.

I wish they didn't have it in Skyrim. It is pushing the envelope too far. imo

There is a "good" alternative to that quest. You lure Brother Verulus there, then when he's on the table or when you first arrive, kill everyone present.

And I'unno, I thought finding the children's burial site with small draugr wrapped in linen was the most disturbing thing in Skyrim. Especially considering their crazy old dragon cult parents poisoned them.

I killed Namira's priest when I first met her. She says something like "your mouth grows wet and your stomach growls at the site of dead human flesh". That just made me feel sick, seeing her head roll was immensely satisfying.

That part got to me more than anything else I can think of too, especially reading the letters of the alchemist trying to convince them not to do this.

Yeah, that was also damned creepy. I first read the letter mentioning clearing some room off and beginning burial of children's bodies. My first though was "Children's bodies? I don't see--" Then I look down and see I'm standing on tiny draugrs in the ground and I screamed pretty loudly and leaped away. Scaaary. ;o;

An unfortunate turn for those of us collecting artifacts. In my case made essential as one of my daedric quests is broken ( A night to remember) The upside is you can have the creepy cannibal as a follower.

Also not impressed with having to kill 1/4 of Markarth if you kill Eola.
