Not really, try a SMG though, I used a 10mm SMG on a bunch of them and it works great.

I found that fire works the best. In fact fire seems to work for everything! lol :flamethrower:

I just stand really far away, stealth, then shoot them a few times with a hunting riffle. Between me and Boone it dies before it gets to me and in case we alert two of them at once I lay a bunch of frag mines about ten feet in front of my position.

I tried the archimedes II, however due to my low energy weapon skill[I'd hope} the friggin laser from space didn't one shot kill it.

Yes. Really. Purifier + Piercing Strike = lots and lots of Dead-Claws. Throw in Slayer and a Ballistic Fist? You'll be killing Deathclaws like it's cool.
