Now, I know the silver sword can't be improved via grindstone or anythin'. But is there anyway it can be improved at all? A glitch or something? Anything? I'm loving the looks and stuff, and I mainly go for looks, But 18 damage is too damn low.

You can use the fortify restoration glitch to enchant yourself necklaces and amulets that give you more 1H and 2H damage than you could using "normal" enchanting.
I still use it :dunno: I just feel more immersed than when in damn green lantern glass armour.
This is true, i only used fur / hide armor, scale armor and dragon plate armor with that character, none of that fancy elven/ leather / glass armor. The fur helmet looks awesome.
One feature that's been becoming more and more common in MMOs that I really wish single player RPGs would implement is the ability to equip items "cosmetically" independent of your normal equipment that gives you stats. That way I could run around with my Daedric axes equipped but my character would appear to be using, say, Orcish axes. Having complete control over how my character looks without putting myself at a disadvantage is something I really miss going from MMOs to pretty much any single player game.
I feel for everyone that prefers the looks of lower level gear and has to decide between looks and gameplay.

Appearence in this game is everything. Didn't you know that? I'd much rather have a harder time because of my armor rating than wear a lot of the armor in this game. Everything has a skirt and the majority of them have no pants. Some of the armor is really nice blades, nightingale, theives guild, etc. But my personally....I just use clothes.
I'd love to be able to improve silver weapons, I picked one of those up at low level and it felt like I was doing double damage against undead. If it could be smithed it be right up there with daedric and glass weapons given how common Druegar are.
He didn't get it
He got it but you missed it. What he's basically talking about is say a set of bracers that give you 400% damage with one-handed weapons. That could certainly make the silver longsword deal a ton of damage.
