If the Snow Elves came back to Tamriel...

What would be their statistics? How would you design your Snow Elf character?

Based on what I saw in Dawnguard their lost magic looks like alteration to me, the underground Falmer seem to be really talented alchemists and good with bows and one hand swords.

I would guess a Snow Elf would be: +10 Alteration, +5 Restoration, +5 Archery, +5 One-Handed, +5 Alchemy, +5 Speech.

And their racial power would be basically like a Fus Roh Dah spell but affecting a huge radius all around the caster. Racial ability is 50% shock resistance.

I would probably play a Snow Elf like a mystical-archer. A bow with a paralyze enchantment, Elven or hide armor, with Alteration and Restoration, a dagger for backup.

I think it would be +10 Archery, +5 Alteration, +5 Alchemy, +5 Destruction, +5 Light Armor, +5 Sneak. They clearly know Magic well as well as Archery, the Betrayed Falmer are very good with potions so whether that was before they ate the fungi or after they ate it. Probably after they ate the fungi but I'm going to put it anyway.
I know they racial ability would have the same as Nords 50% frost resistance.
Their power would be something Magic related.

EDIT: five +5 skills now.

You only listed 4 skills. Each race has 6 skill bonuses. 1 with +10 and 5 with +5.

They never left Tamriel in the first place, they were corrupted by the Dwemer. End of story.

Well the above post was a break of the fun, kind of blunt and saying stop it almost lol

But uh, I always liked to imagine that a small group of rebellious snow elves had left and hidden away in a small village. They can always make a story up as to why the snow elves are there again.

Gelebor hints that there may be more survivors but no clues as to where in Tamriel, do not think they would have much racial ability for heavy armour-light armour yes

It would be interesting to see them make a return, maybe like a small pocket of them hiding and surviving above ground regaining their lost sight. Then again watching them finally resurface as a formidable force would be just as interesting.

I always though a cool quest line would be a clan of falmer trap you but then use some basic English to talk to you and you end up doing something for them like communication with other falmer clans. Then Gelebor lets these smarter, peaceful clans "Move into" The temple of Auriel and the forgotten vale. He mentions that he noticed a slight rise in intellect and that someday he hopes he can communicate with them.
