It's talked about (not advertised) all over the place. A simple google search of "Brink DLC" will show you a ton of results with all the news you need.
I feel no pity for this guy.
1. If he wasn't devoted enough to do a simple check on the forums or a quick Google search from time-to-time, [I DON'T THINK] he really has much right to [censored] about it here.
2. He spent the equivalent amount of time logging on to the forums, coming to the General Discussion area, writing up a whole new topic as we would have simply checking...
I don't feel bad for him. He had all the resources available to him and he didn't once check... He has no justification for blaming SD, Microsoft/Sony nor Bethesda for this issue. REGARDLESS of if he is or not.
I think once someone has done the bare minimum they can, THEN they have some right to [censored]... He didn't... But he was QUICK to complain.
I mean, it's not like he knew that there was supposed to be DLC, you know, released around June? And it's not like SD totally screwed the pooch on that and ended up putting it out two months after the fact where everyone had kind of given up on the game except for really loyal players. To know about this DLC, it was almost required to check up on it daily just to hear something about it.
You can dislike his attitude or not, I'm just saying you shouldn't be aggressive towards his ignorance on this matter because this DLC wasn't really celebrated or announced. And the game itself doesn't really tell you, though it can if you check it. (Though it hadn't been updated in months.) Not to mention it was LATE.
Though, I partially blame this on Brink's interface. That sliding news updater on games like Lost Planet, and Red Dead and even Splinter Cell Conviction that update you on such things. Or even simple title text like on Rockband and Gears of War.
And also, apparently he did check. But unfortunately for him checked just a bit too late.
