The subtitle in this game is very well done.

For a Hearing Impaired guy, it's much easier to know which NPC is speaking without having to bend over to the TV screen to see their mouths moving. It was difficult for me with Oblivion and Fallout 3 and New Vegas. Just really glad to see it has been improved and I am enjoying every random conversations civilians and bandits make :) I hope you will do the same thing for next Elder scroll or Fallout game, thank you for this, Bethesda!

I'm hearing impaired myself, and I agree :)

I'm not hearing impaired, but I always like playing with subtitles, and I agree. The emoting and battlecries are accurate, not just the dialogue.. but it helps me in the dialogue, because a lot of timei get interrupted by random NPC pvssyr. I wouldn't even know the storyline without some subtitles.

I'm not but I appreciate that they did this, because some nights I have to have the volume turned all the way down so I don't wake anyone up. Also, sometimes one can not understand the Voice Acting, so being able to read what they are saying is a very good thing.

Glad you guys are able to enjoy the game without any more undo hindrance.

Im am not hearing impaired but I also play with subs on. Always do with any game that has the option. I usually don't turn my volume up very loud as I despise loud noise. Like when people rev up their cars I want their engines to blow out I hate it. I've also watch thousands oh hours of subbed anime over the last few years so I am very used to reading subs.

But yeah when 4+ people are talking all around you it is impossible to discern anything, so I can alteast read 1 conversation.

I've been tempted to put my subtitles on because of this. Maybe it's my imagination, but it always seems as though every NPC in the game waits until I'm in a particularly important conversation to start talking. Sheesh.

It helps.. you should do it.

All the NPCs remind me of this guy Ned from the movie "Groundhog Day":

I don`t use subtitles and I`m glad they can be removed. But I`m also glad that Bethesda were wise enough to have subtitles for people who would have difficultly hearing the game. :)
