I consider moonsugar a close relative of crack cocaine that has very negative consequences for consumption to non-Khajiit folk.

They took it out probably because some groups and anti smoking lobbyists would have thrown tantrums over having even the plants in the game. Then BGS would have had countless whinning parents along with lawsuits. Complaining the game gave their kids the idea that tobacco is good and it is alright to smoke.....blah blah blah....... :rofl:

But decapitations are A-OK. I'm surprised that the right-wingnuts haven't gone ballistic over the same-six marriage. :shocking:

Now to partake of tea, sans cup... :unsure:

I wouldn't see anything wrong with smoking tobacco. I enjoy a pipe of Peterson's Irish Flake on the occasional evening. The reason it's not in the game is probably due to the climate of Skyrim and it being difficult to grow. Just a guess.

If people want to destroy their body I think its their right to choose. After all we are suppose to live in a free country where we aren't living under the oppression of a king or queen.

But anyways without trying to get into any political debate, I was just stating the effects of skooma are akin to smoking crack than some plant which makes you lazy and hungry.

That doesn't make it a good thing. Pot on the other hand....

Skyrim is cold so maybe it's not the best place to grow it, that's the only explanation that I could come up with besides Beth censoring it by not putting it in the game.

It just doesn't seem realistic that a tobacco plant would need or want to be censored. I have a hard time accepting that as the reason it's not in the game.

Well to tobacco is usually made in a more moderate or warm climate, so it makes since why it's not there (even though this probably isnt the reason Beth removed it).

I always thought of Skooma like Molly or crack just like a liquid version of moon sugar. Though i guess Molly is a hallucinagin ... so not exactly the same.

I believe skooma is a crystalline substance that is smoked, not a liquid.

I mean, why would they have skooma, moon sugar and all of that alcohol and not have tobacco? It's like crack and powder cocaine and any liquor you want is fine, but OH GOD NO DON'T SMOKE TOBACCO. Even if you want to use it in a potion, I mean sure, you want to use it for science but the KIDS COULD GET TO IT AND SMOKE IT!!

So I just assume it would be there if it weren't too cold.
