The Ultimate Appreciation

Post » Fri Jun 22, 2012 2:24 pm

I hope I'm not copying anyone's idea. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who thought of this. If there was a topic like this before - Apologies.

There are some... NPCs who you grow very fond of. It may be NPC's beauty, character, how he/she adresses you... You meet quite often, maybe he/she is a vendor? You start to feel attached... You find the NPC very useful and you know that you need him/her. For the sake of this topic, let's adress the NPC by the name of Ysolda.

I will share the method for absolute intimacy.

You prepare. You watch. You observe Ysolda's actions. You smile.

You buy a pickaxe. Or better - you take your trusted pickaxe, which you used on several occasions, a pickaxe which you LIKE. You go to the mines, to mine ore. Silver or Gold (whichever you prefer, whichever is closer to your heart). You get some ore and some gems along the way. You return to the city and smelt the ore into an ingot. You make a beautiful amulet.

You go visit Ysolda again. You watch her moves, talk to her, maybe give her a present (by reverse pickpocketing for instance).

You take your trusty pickaxe again. You mine ore needed for your weapon of choice. You return to the town, smelt the ore and make a dagger.
You enchant the dagger with a soultrap spell. You name it beautifully. "Ysolda's Salvation" or something like that.

You prepare a black soul gem. You cry.

Ysolda smiled for the last time. She knew him. If he had come with the amulet of Mara she would say yes. He never did that. But maybe he'll propose now? He followed her to the back alley. "is he hugging me? From behind?". Her soul left the vessel of her flesh, the blade was her guide and the blood gushing from her throat was the path. She was taken to the Whiterun waterworks and became a mermaid.

You take the black soul gem, filled with Ysolda's soul. You enchant the amulet. The enchantments and the name of the amulet should remind you of her. Now she'll be with you forever.

Muy bueno muy bueno I read that in Nazeems voice.

You take the black soul gem, filled with Ysolda's soul. You enchant the amulet. The enchantments and the name of the amulet should remind you of her. Now she'll be with you forever.

Spoken like a true necromancer, if you can't have the person you love with you forever when you increase your life span through necromancy why not take her soul and keep it close to your heart with an amulet.

Wow, bravo. I agree, a true necromancer indeed. How you can get so in depth with the game is very interesting.

I do the opposite of this. With a Nightblade character I had a few months ago, I soul trapped my enemies as a Nightingale to fuel my sword and bow. So my Nightingale Blade would be filled with the souls of my enemies, never having the chance to get to their afterlife. Very evil that way.

With my current and favorite character though, I don't do that. I don't even have a Soul Trap enchanted item anyways.

I have a pair of Fortify Archery gloves called Annekke Crag-Jumper. My Breton vampire Tepes Bathory uses the Black Star to trap the souls of followers

Check out my Skyrim videos in my sig for how she met her end. And there's another video of how Faendal met his end on my youtube too.

I put away my vampire as soon as I heard about Dawnguard so I've not played him since.

That is excellent RPing.... super creepy though. But what is wrong with that? Just wondering, whose soul did you use to enchant the blade used to kill her?
