Post » Thu Jun 23, 2011 9:50 am

A thread to discuss the CW's Vampire Diaries, starring Nina Dobrev. I will post the plot here soon, so patience please. You can discuss the upcoming Season 3, and characters, new cast, and surprises that have left you on the edge of your seats.
The Plot: 17 year old Elena Gilbert is caugh between two brothers, Stefan and Damon, vampires and founders of Mystic Falls. Later in the series, the plot focuses more on Elena's malevolent doppelg?nger, Katherine, and an original vampire named Klaus. There are many new additions such as werewolves and witches. This is a show you do not want to miss.

I tried watching the first episode. When, in the first scene, a young couple got slaughtered by a vampire on an abandoned road at night, I thought the show had potential. I lost interest in the second scene when said vampire used his powers to infiltrate a high school to hit on teenage girls. I think I watched about ten minutes of it.

And you make many threads.

The production quality of this show is amazing. The camera work and lighting are one of the best I've ever seen. The acting is great too.

I don't have much to say about the storyline and whatnot because it's pretty meh

Nina is hot. She's pretty much the only reason I've watched the few episodes I have. It was cool, but I never really got too into it. I'm on team True Blood. :P

I also thought the same thing at first but it got more serious And very very interesting, and addictive for some reason. I say get the full first and secon season and reconsider. The arrival of Katherine, Klaus, and The werewolves turned everything around.
