*Spoilers ahead*

I don't know where I went wrong, but I finally got through all the obstacles that blocked the vault. I entered the vault and found a huge stash of gold bars but the door closed behind me. I unlocked the terminal and read the message to Vera which then lead to the message to Dean. It read that if Dean was reading the message, he could not get out because of his greed and so on. I logged out of the terminal and the slides started rolling saying that the Courier had passed away in the vault and something about the security holograms. I loaded back before I entered the vault but my saves are only up to the point where I disengaged the security. What was I supposed to do before I entered the vault? I honestly don't know what I did wrong because I had no idea what was going on. It would be hell to play this DLC all over again.
