Looks ok on the left side of that screen. Some areas where there's water does indeed look pretty weird.

I play on the bugstation 3, and mine doesn't look that way at all. Most definetly a bug. :)

There's nothing wrong with the PS3, it's the game that's bugged.

ultra settings aprt from distant object detail is on high, ultra caauses stuttering for some reason, but also tweaked ini, using DO NOT ARGUE config, ugrids 7, serious hd textures, and i cant remember the water mod, name, my game look pretty nice, its just the water that kills it

I'm on 360. I haven't noticed anything looking that bad. Well, maybe waterfalls from a distance (static white rectangles).

True that, my bad.
Haha, speaking of bugstation, reminded me of when a buddy of mine referred to fallout: New Vegas as bugout: new glitches, a day past release. Laughed hard for a while.

Just a smoothing error with the terrain. If they spent more time smoothing the area around the water it would look better.

Can I get a location so I can show you what I mean when it's done properly?

My guess is that it's the textures (if you are using Realistic Water Textures), since I've got the same thing in some places. Although the vanilla shorelines look nearly as bad, srsly, learn from CryEngine 1 (Crysis) Beth...

That big line is where the water 3D plane ends. What they needed to do was raise the terrain and then smooth it out. I have seen this in other places too. If the terrain isn't smoothed right, this will happen in any game.

I'm not creating a mod or fix, but you can go and maybe ask for a request in the modding forum.

It looks like it's a shader problem, like the water doesn't become clear at the edges, like it should.

Yes it's like that in vanilla. Maybe one of the devs needed a coffee when placing that particular water piece. Just human error, that's all.
