Theory on 1.6Dawnguard and All Platforms

Post » Mon Jul 16, 2012 2:26 pm

Well, first let me break this down into who has and does not have what:
PC, has 1.6, but not Dawngaurd
PS3, does not have 1.6 or Dawnguard
Xbox 360, has both 1.6 and Dawngaurd

Now, 1.6 has caused a multitude of glitches on PC and Xbox 360.
Dawnguard has caused a number of issues on Xbox 360.
PS3 has basically been broken for some and barely playable for others since Day One.

My Theory: Bethesda finally listened to PS3 customers complaints, and did something about it. But instead of doing the intelligent thing and fixing the PS3, they decided to equal out the equation by breaking the PC and Xbox 360.

Prove me wrong, Bethesda. Please.

We could take this one step further. I believe Bethesda is an alien race from a planet called Beta Thesda. They are taking over the world by gaining control over us by making us wait one more month. They give it to some, to cause turmoil and seperate us, easier to conquer.

Prove me wrong, Bethesda. Please.

Um, I play Skyrim on xbox, and if anything, 1.6 fixed a lot and Dawnguard works fine.

I'm actually serious. Bethesda has repeatedly lied to the community and every update seems to break more than it fixes. As a paying customer, I find this unacceptable. I want the product I payed for, and now others are being cheated out of that same product by 'fixes' and 'new content'.

I got a few freezes after 1.6 so I can see where you're coming from, but I think the bad thing is, is rather the bugs they haven't patched yet.

Dawnguard adds more problems than previous patches has fixed all together. The even sadder thing is unless you have a previous save there is no way to get around them, and many of them are game breaking.

It's going to be a mess unless they patch it quick. Still got character who can't finish Molag Bals quest and that bug is stuck in the save and I'm not dumping 67Lv's.

What those of who say you haven't had any problems, or any 'serious' problems, need to realize, is that just because your client works, does not mean everyone's client works. On PS3, I have experienced significantly less problems than seems to be the common experience. I have still suffered both major and minor issues with the game, however. Even a minor problem is a problem with a game.
