All,

I hate the head gear for fur armor. And for that matter, I hate the head gear armor for Hide and normal Leather Armor.

But, no worries. I can live without the armor rating. But I would like to wear something other than a metallic circlet on my head, just because the bare head kinda bugs me. I would at least like to wear some clothing I could enchant or something.

So does anyone know of anything that looks good on the head with FUR armor? I've tried all the head gear in the clothing shop in Solitude, but none of them look good. Tho there is a merchant's hat that isnt horrible in that it almost looks like a plains-horse-archer leather skull cap. But that still isnt that great.

I wish I could get a head band or a laurel wreath or something.

Does anyone know of anything?

Funnily enough I had the same dilemma not too long ago. In the end I found the Light Armor headpieces that looked alright were Imperial Light Helmet and Dragonscale Helmet. But if you're not restricting yourself to Light Armor then there are plenty of heavy helmets that look really good, e.g. Iron Helmet goes with everything, Ancient Nord Helmet looks really cool, etc.

Thanks for the suggestions! I am OK with non-light armor, because my intent is to use the creation kit to duplicate the appearance/model of one I like, but to give it the stats for a plain Leather or Fur helm (yes, I know Fur Helms are bugged with the Matching Set perk). That way, the item isnt any better than Fur armor, but it will just look good, and I can put it for sale on a vendor.

There's a http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Stormcloak_Officer_Helmet. It's got the shape of an animal's head. Nothing that resembles a head band or laurel wreath 'though.

I think a mage hood looks pretty good with the bare chested fur armors.

What about the arch mage's hood? I think that would go really well with fur.
