Trying to pick up a follower, but this NPC says someone is already following me...I don't Think I have one...is there a console command or something to move your current follower to you?

I just play on the PS3 but every time I hit wait for 1 hour, they show up. That and fast travel. I'm guessing you've probably done those, so maybe the NPC you're talking to is hallucinating.

Did you tell a follower to wait some where and forget about them??? Cause they will wait like up to 3 days I think lol...

This chartacter never had a follower to begin with. Closest I got was challenging the lady in the bar in town to a fistfight, but she kicked my rear...twice.

Maybe it's because I'm an elf and he's just being a prejudiced twit? but why would he lie and say "someone appears to be following you"?

Hmmm. interesting not sure maybe just use wait for 3 days and try again or try another known companion and see if they work...

Aha! I figured it out...it's the first time I actually did any of the companions quest lines, and mister werewolf was patiently waiting for me at the barrow...d'oh!
