Is there any way to put male armor onto a female character?

Is there a console command or something? Or is it entirely impossible?

Not as far as I'm aware, it is pretty annoying. I place my clothes on a mannequin and suddenly they got from dresses and robes to a shirt and pants...

Well if you are on PC you can open up the meshes bsa and look for your male armor you like. Then look for the female version you want to replace, then rename the male file to match the female file. That is one quick workaround. Another is to wait for the CS because all the past bethesda games had armor with an optional female version slot. You can just edit the female slot to none and it will use the male armor by default on females.

And you will have graphic anomalies such as gaps in the neck line and possibly shoulders and wrists, the armor is gender specific for the models.

Ugh. So Lord Banewrath Sunblade's way of putting male armor on my female character will have side effects, eh? I guess I will just have to use the female armor then. <_<

... Why do you want to do this anyways? Is your character a trannie?

Or use sixchange in console anything bellow your neck changes six, so does the way armor looks.

Its also the work around when you have persistent "arrow wounds".
