is there a cheat to reset a clothings dt?

well is there a cheat to make a 0 dt clothing go to a 20 dt clothing

If you're on the PC, sure. All you gotta do is adjust a single # in the clothing of your choice in either the G.E.C.K or FNVEdit, save it as an .esp and that's it.

I don't believe so or rather I've never seen a way with console commands.

DT modifications to apparel have to be done in the GECK, the only console commands that modify DT apply to the character him/her self as they concern perk additions and such.

To do so, open the GECK and select the item in question, and you can then change the value in the 'DT' field as you see fit. Remember to save the file before exiting the GECK (it will remind you upon attempting to exit if you have not saved yet) and you will now have a permanently altered item. To make sure the game applies the new value, you will need to go into the 'Data Files' section and check the box next to your new .esp. From that point on, the item you modified will always use the new value rather than the original.

In case you're wondering, doing all that will take at most a couple of minutes, which is about how long it took me to type the above instructions.
